venison_burgers Venison Burgers – A great way to use up some of the ground venison you have in the freezer. These tempting burgers are cooked on the BBQ, adding that extra outdoor flavor and served with all your favorite toppings.

Prep Time: 5 mins
Cook Time: 10 mins
Main Ingredient: Venison
Difficulty Level: 1

Ingredients to make Venison Burgers

1 lb Ground venison
3 oz Pork fat back, ground
Salt, Pepper,Spices to taste

Directions to make Venison Burgers

Step 1:  Because venison has so little fat, you’ll need to add some for a juicy burger. But don’t use deer fat – it tastes bad.) Mix venison, pork, salt and pepper, handling as little as possible.
Step 2:  Heat grill. Brush vension burgers with vegetable oil and grill about 4 minutes; turn and cook to desired doneness.
Step 3:  Serve on rolls with your choice of condiments.
